Project Description
Fire remediation to 24 apartments in two residential blocks.
Kennet Construction Ltd tendered and won the contract for the refurbishment and improved fire protection measures to occupied properties for the social housing landlord Curo Places Ltd.
We had to carefully arrange access with residents and keep them informed of the works as they progressed. Works involved external cladding remediation which involved replacement of the external facades and including insulated render system, new external windows and doors, fire compartmentation in roof voids, new soffits, fascia and gutters, replace balcony walkway roof finishes.
All apartments were generally occupied and tenant liaison was properly coordinated to allow for window and door replacement and reinstatements and all aspects of health and safety.
